The Life Cycle Assessment Canvas
You may have heard or used Business Model Canvas from Strategyzer, but this canvas can be new to you. Even though there are numerous CO 2 mitigation technologies have been developing and deployed to protect our home [1], we are running out of time to keep our planet safe and healthy. We need greater collaboration and action to spread sustainability mindset into every aspect of our lives. For this, I created the Life Cycle Assessment Canvas inspired by Business Model Canvas. M

Pipe Pressure Loss with Different Pipe Materials
This is the first article in this website!! I shared hand calculations and below, I will share some key steps in ANSYS Fluent. Let's say we have 3 different pipe/tube materials and want to compare pressure loss. Later we will compare with hand calculation vs. Fluent result. I will not go deep into all analysis steps but I will share some points. As usual, we start desinging with a selected plane. Since here I designed 50mm pipe piece as this simulation is periodic BC, you

Smooth pipe, turbulent flow, constant heat flux
In this article, I will share basic smooth pipe simulation using ANSYS FLUENT. Below, you will learn: How to simplify geomety, and why it is important? How to understand you have enough/right mesh for your simulation? How to setup periodic boundary condition? How to get Nusselt Number? At the end, we will compare hand calculation and numerical result which is called verification, to see how simulation differs from formulation. We have basic smooth pipe with below fluid proper

How to Set Up Periodic Boundary Condition in ANSYS FLUENT
Periodic boundary condition (periodic BC) is very useful and time saving feature when you working with repeating geometries. With Periodic BC, you will have less number of mesh elements, so faster simulation to get results. In this example, we have 25mm diameter, 50mm long smooth pipe and we will see how to avoid errors while setting up periodic boundary conditions. Let's start with Fluent Meshing, then I will show how to match periodic faces in classical meshing window. Afte
